The Vale Academy, whose specialist subjects are Technology and Music, is situated in the small market town of Brigg in North Lincolnshire. The academy is extremely popular and takes its students from Brigg and the surrounding villages. Indeed, a large number of parents and their children select the Vale which means that many students travel some distance to access the extremely high quality education offered here.
The change to academy status has brought with it many advantages, not least of which is the opportunity to be part of the School Partnership Trust which is an educational charity whose ethos is based on four founding principles which match our own: Quality, Partnership, Aspiration and Responsibility.

Our aims:
The aim of the academy, as well as to educate our students to the highest possible standards, is to offer many and varied extra-curricular activities both within the academy and on our various educational visits. When you read our prospectus and the ‘Vale Views’ you will become aware of just how much is on offer to our students, not only through our Technology and Music specialisms and our excellent P.E. department, but through many other subject areas. It will also become clear how deserving our students are. I am regularly made immensely proud when hotel staff, theatre staff and the general public comment on their excellent manners, positive attitudes and outstanding behaviour. Such responses enhance the reputation of our academy greatly.
