The Vale Academy celebrated excellent results in its sixth form

The Vale Academy celebrated excellent results in its sixth form.

Principal Nicola Williams was ‘delighted’ with the overall pass rate of 100%, with 42% of grades achieved at A Level at the top grades of A*-B.

The results reflect the hard work and commitment shown by students and staff.

There were many individual successes, although of note is Harvey Stevenson who achieved four A* grades and has secured a place to study Medicine at Imperial College, London.

Director of Sixth Form Angela Savage said: “I am very pleased that once again our students have achieved some excellent results.

“There are some outstanding individual achievements and what gives the greatest pleasure is the consistently good progress students make irrespective of their starting points.

“We are a truly inclusive post 16 provider and I feel immensely proud to have worked alongside this wonderful group of students.

“Huge congratulations to all involved and good luck for the future.”

Mrs Williams said: “These are an excellent set of results which will enable our students to access the HE courses of their choice.

“They are also a reflection of the strong teaching and personalised support that we provide. I am delighted that our post 16 provision continues to grow and flourish. Well done to all.”
