The Vale Academy has had its ‘well above average’ status confirmed in the Department for Education’s KS4 Performance Tables, which were released this week. The Vale’s ranking puts the academy’s performance in the top 5% of schools and colleges in England.
The Vale is part of Delta Academies Trust, one of the largest multi academy trusts based in the North of England. The Trust is also celebrating its considerable success being ranked second nationally for Trusts with over 10 schools.
The Vale’s Principal Nicola Williams said, ‘I am delighted for both The Vale and for the Trust; these excellent outcomes reflect the dedication and commitment of all staff both at The Vale and within the wider Delta family. The Vale is one of the highest achieving schools in North Lincolnshire and the wider area. I am extremely proud to be the Principal of such a high performing academy, working within a high performing MAT. The benefits for all our students are plain to see.’
Paul Tarn, Delta’s Chief Executive Officer, added
“I would like to congratulate students, parents and carers, staff, Principals, and local Academy Advisory Body members on these outstanding results.
The commitment of the Board of Delta Academies Trust to education in the North has had a dramatic impact for our communities.
I am delighted that children in our communities are now benefiting from what is recognised nationally as a high-performing Trust. ‘
