Cyber North

10 students from The Vale Academy took part in the Cyber North conference and competition at The Education Exchange on Friday.

Students engaged with key speakers from GCHQ, Cyber First, The National Cyber Security Centre and Google and had the opportunity to speak to representatives from Leeds Becket, Durham and Teesside Universities as well the chance to put into practice their cyber security skills  through a range of challenging competitions.

Vale Academy Computer Science Students were able to successfully complete all the challenges thrown at them and Erin, Mars & Amy from The Vale Academy also won the Team Spirit award during the day.
