KS4 (Years 10 and 11) Exam Board and Course

There are two routes available to our students at KS4

  1. AQA Combined trilogy course leading to the equivalent of two GCSE’s. This course focusses on a variety of biology, chemistry and physics topics and culminates in 6 x 1hr 15 mins terminal exams.
  2. Separate sciences in biology, chemistry and physics leading to three GCSE’s. These courses cover all of the content of the trilogy science course with some additional topics in each of the sciences. Each course is assessed separately via 2 x 1hour 45mins examinations
